UPDATE (11:45 AM/5.8): The bad news is that we're having tech issues and the video will be up 5:00pm today instead of noon. The good news is that you'll still have 48 hours to view the cabaret as many times as you want until 5:00pm Sunday. The best news is we are now able to keep ticket sales open longer (until 4:45 pm today) and raise more money for the DEAR Fund!

Music for a Better Tomorrow: A Virtual Cabaret of Hope and InspirationWhat is a virtual cabaret?
|
How will it work?
Right now is a really difficult and uncertain time for many people in the performing arts community. There are so many theatre professionals who’s lives have been deeply affected by the closure of theaters during this global pandemic. As a theatre company, we have always been dedicated to giving back to our community. We want to do our part to help by contributing to the DEAR Covid Relief Fund started by our good friends at the Denver Actors Fund! Help us give back to those in need while enjoying some inspirational and uplifting performances!
- Performers:
- Want to participate in our cabaret? Sign-Up and submit a video of you performing your favorite song that you think embodies our theme “music for a better tomorrow” using the form linked below. Our performance slots are on a first-come, first-served basis; so record and submit!
- Audiences:
- Those interested in viewing the cabaret will be directed to the FRTC Website, where there will be a donation tab; with a $10 minimum entry price to view the digital cabaret.
- Proceeds will go to artists in the Denver area who are out of work and are in need, due to the virus.
- Once donated, you will be sent a link (your own virtual ticket) to our final production video!
- This link will go live at 12PM on Friday May 8th and will end at 12PM on Sunday May 10th. You will be able to watch and enjoy the performance at any time (and as many times as you would like) during that window!
