2017 Season

Alice in Wonderland - Page to Stage

11-year-old Alice is jolted out of her bored daydreams in the school holidays when she meets a talking rabbit who insists she follow him to a mysterious Wonderland… In this fantastical place Alice comes across a number of peculiar characters, including a relaxed caterpillar, a happy cat, a depressive hare, a white knight, a romantic duchess, a mad hatter and a sleepy dormouse, and learns that all is not well in Wonderland: a mysterious (and very cross) Queen of Hearts seems distressingly keen to chop off everyone’s heads… (Opera Holland Park)

Directed and adapted by Andrew Parker
Cast Members: Batya Cruz, Mason Harvey, Jennie Johnson, Mariah Salazar

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - School Edition

Picture
An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. (MTI)

School of Rock - Youth Production

Rock got no reason, rock got no rhyme...You better get me to school on time! School of Rock is a two-hour, two-act musical, based on the hit movie. The tuner follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out? (TMC)

Off Days

Picture
A morally righteous employee and a shoplifter with a flare for the dramatic. A seemingly broken panic button and an accidental hostage. All of that, plus two bumbling officers in the world premiere of the one act “Off Days” by Megan Lucas.
