Camp Expectations
Be Prepared:
Everyone must come prepared to Day 1 of camp. This means you haven't just "listened" to the show 1 or 2 times, but that you are practically memorized!
Attendance:
During this two-week period, we want to encourage your actor to participate in all activities in order to receive the full benefit of what this camp has to offer.
Safety:
Safety is also of major importance to us – we want your actor to know they have the freedom to option out of an activity where they do not feel comfortable. Every attempt will be made to ensure this does not occur.
Medication:
If your actor has medication that needs to be taken on a daily basis during camp hours, you will need to provide us with the medications and we will make sure they receive them at the appropriate time. Actors with inhalers are welcome to keep them on their person, however a spare inhaler should be given to the FRTC Staff as an emergency backup.
Allergies:
Any allergies (i.e. peanuts, bees, and or gluten) need to be included in the registration form so we are aware of any potential reactions.
Lunch:
Campers need to provide all their own lunches and mid-day snacks, if needed. Snacks and concessions will be available to purchase during designated snack and lunch times.
Behavior:
Any behavioral issues that may arise will be handled by FIRST – a meeting with the Camp Director. If the behavior continues – a parent call may be necessary. A third incident will cause removal from the camp. We want a pleasant experience for everyone and that is our priority.
Dress Code:
Please remember that you will be moving around a lot! Please wear comfortable clothes to move in. No dresses or skirts.
